With over 25 years of experience in supply chain leadership — including more than 20 years in senior roles.— I, Kristel Tacken, founded Onechain to help organisations identify what holds them back and build sustainable performance.
I design end-to-end supply chain processes that connect strategy with execution. Goal-focused, people-oriented and results-driven, I combine clarity, alignment and collaboration across teams
My experience spans logistics service providers and global manufacturing environments — from operational execution to strategic supply chain design. I drive improvements in fulfilment and distribution by aligning planning, logistics and inventory governance. This includes end-to-end planning (IBP, ITP/S&OE), inventory management and network optimisation — including warehouse relocations, contract renewals and overflow solutions.
I lead across functions and cultures, connecting operations to strategy and governance — ensuring supply chains not only support the business, but actively strengthen customer service and operational reliability.
About Onechain
The name Onechain reflects a simple conviction: supply chains only reach their full potential when they are managed as one connected system — not as separate functions with competing priorities.
Sales, procurement, planning, logistics and customer service often aim for the same outcomes. Yet when processes are disconnected and rules are unclear, people are forced into workarounds that drain time, energy and value.
Sustainable performance comes from clarity — clarity about priorities, roles and trade-offs — and from an end-to-end operating framework that keeps execution aligned with strategy.
Tools don’t fix broken foundations. Structure, governance and collaboration do. And leadership is what makes those foundations hold.
Without one team and one plan — and the transparency to support it — performance simply won’t sustain.
How I work
I work side by side with leadership and teams to uncover root causes and design solutions anchored in strategy, translated into clear plans, processes and operating frameworks. My approach is collaborative: I co-create structures that connect people, systems and decisions — always with a focus on performance, compliance and lasting improvement. If something goed beyond my capacity or expertise i speak up and propose support from my supply chain companies with a proven track record in my network.
what I don't do
I don’t fight internal political battles, and I cannot impose change on leaders who are not committed. For transformation to succeed, leadership ownership is essential. When that’s in place, I bring the structure, expertise and trust to turn ambition into results that are visible in business performance and in the way people experience their work.
